Avola (Spring)

A very early ripening wrinkled pea variety, need for heat units: 660-670˚C, plant length: 50-60 cm. The first fertile nodes are on the 8-9. level. It brings 1-2 pods on each node, the length of pod is 7 cm. Size of pea seeds: 9-11 mm. This pea variety is also suitable for the canning and freezing industry, especially liked due to early ripening.

Cabree

An early ripening wrinkled pea variety, needs 700 to 720˚C heat units until harvest. Stem length 50-70 cm. The first fertile nodes are on the 8-9. level, located in pairs. The length of pea pods is 7 cm which develops 7-8 seeds. The developed seeds are 8,5 to 9 mm in size. This variety is resistant against Fusarium oxysporum 1.

Talbot

A final pea variety of the early maturity group. The first fertile node takes place on the 9-10. level. Heat unit requirement: 740-750˚C. This is one of the most loved pea varieties of the freezing and canning industry. Plant height is 50-70 cm, the developed nodes can stabilize the stem particularly well. The pea pods can be found in pairs on each node, their length is 7 cm. Each pods carries 7-8 seeds, seed size is between 9-11 mm. The variety shows high resistance against Fusarium wilt.

Hailey

The opening pea variety of the mid-early maturity group. The constant high yield and its resistance against diseases makes it a beloved variety for the food processing industry. Heat unit requirement: 750-770˚C. The white flowers can be found most often in pairs on the 9-10. node. The length of pod is 7-8 cm, it brings 7-8 seeds per node. The seed size is between 8-10 mm. The variety has high resistance against both race of Fusarium wilt.

Milor

The leading pea variety of the mid-early maturity group. This pea can bring 3 pods per each node during favorable conditions so it is a very high yielding variety. It has also high resistance against diseases. Heat unit requirement is 800 to 810˚C. The first fertile node is on level 11. The average pod length is 8 cm, 7-8 seeds can be found in each. Seed size is 9-12 mm. The stem length is 70-80 cm.

Wolf

The stabil member of the mid maturity group which is able to produce high yields during extreme weather. It is being re-discovered by the food processing industry due to smaller seed size and high tolerance. Heat unit requirement: 820-830˚C. The first flowers appear in pairs or threes on level 13-14. Length of pods: 7 cm, contain 7-8 seeds. Seed size is tipically 8-9 mm. Stem length: 70-80 cm.

Durango

The most intensive pea of the mid-late maturity group which can reach incredible yields in appropriate circumstances. Heat unit requirement: 840-850˚C. The first fertile node is on the 13-14. level. The plant brings 3-5 flowers per node from which there are 3-4 pods per each level. Pod length: 7 cm, in which there are 8 seeds. Seed size: 8-10 mm. This pea variety is highly resistant against Fusarium wilt and powdery mildew.

Tristar

The most common pea variety of the mid-late maturity group is because of its constant high yields even between non-ideal conditions. Heat unit requirement: 840-850˚C. The first flowers appear on the 13-14. node, usually in threes. Pod length: 8 cm, 8-9 seeds ripen in each. Seed size: 8-10 mm. Stem length: 70-90 cm. This variety is highly resistant against Fusarium wilt.

Resal

The final pea variety of the late maturity group. Excellent yields and high resistance make this pea the most wanted variety of the category. Heat unit requirement: 860-870˚C. This pea brings 3 to 5 flowers per level, firstly on the 15. node. Usually 3-4 of them become fertillized and turn into pods on each level. Generally, the pods are 9 cm long and 9-10 seeds are brought up by one node. Seed size: 9-11 mm. The stem is 80 cm long. It is highly resistant against Fusarium wilt and powdery mildew.
